Dat Groove: Datura style belly dance

Dat Groove, Christina's Datura Style group improvisation dancers, are a newer addition to her dance card.
Made up of five fantastic dancers who are accomplished professionals, wives, mothers, and a grandmother, this troupe enjoys creating in-the-moment performances rooted in the steps and combinations of the Datura Style vocabulary. Every performance is different because every performance is improvised! Christina became a Datura Style instructor in 2019 and began developing this core group of dancers in the style. Dat Groove has been performing in Elgin, IL and at belly dance events in the Chicagoland area since the summer of 2022 and they're excited to keep the dance love going with each colorful and fun presentation.
